The Web as a Database Workshop
Santiago, Chile - November 3-4, 2006
The Web as a Database workshop will be held on Santiago, Chile during November 3-4, 2006. This workshop will be a pre-workshop of the Workshop on Foundations of Databases and the Web that will be held on the San Rafael Glacier.
The main objective of the workshop is to present talks that are loosely related to Web search, web mining or Internet economics, or the use of the web as a database, and that are different to the talks that will be presented on the Workshop on Foundations of Databases and the Web.
This workshop is organized by Yahoo! Research Latin America, the ICTD of the Universitat Pompeu Fabra, and the Center for Web Research of the CS Department of the Universidad de Chile.
The workshop will be held on the Auditorio Gorbea of the School of Engineering of the Universidad de Chile, on November 3-4, 2006.
