- What is the name of the ship?
The Skorpios company has three vessels (M/N Skorpios I, M/N Skorpios II, and M/N Skorpios III). The workshop will be on board the M/N Skorpios I.
- How to get from the airport to the ship?
The airplanes arrive to Balmaceda Airport, which is 2 hours away (in bus) from Puerto Chacabuco. The ship departs from Puerto Chacabuco on November 6 at 20:00. There will be buses, free of charge, provided by the Skorpios company that will take the passengers from Balmaceda to Puerto Chacabuco.
- Where can I get more information of the ship?
A detailed description of the route is described on the Navigation Track of the ship. The workshop will be on the 5 days/4 nights (monday-friday) route (the second one on the page).

- Medicine
There is always a doctor on board our three vessels. This service is free of charge and so are the basic medical supplies.
- Language
All three vessels have Public Relations Personnel and Interpreters.
- Insurance
Insurance covers accidents medical and pharmaceutical assistance, hospital expenses and transfers.

- Gastronomy
The menu on board is fixed, and offers meat and seafood. Passengers may also choose an alternative dish at no extra cost.
- Electricity
Electricity on board is of 220 volts but 110-volt adapters are available.
- Shipyard
Skorpios builds its ships in its own Shipyard, which guarantees efficiency and security of maintenance, so as to punctually fulfill our sailing dates.
- Temperatures
Northern Patagonia M/V Skorpios I & M/V Skorpios II. Autumn to spring (March to November)
8°C to 18°C. Summer (December to February) between 12°C and 22°C.
- Dress
Clothing for the cruise is totally informal. Remember to bring a swimming suit, since we will go to a thermal bath during the trip.
- Purchases
Mini-Shop exists on board stocked with the appropriate travel goods: film, photos, batteries, T-shirts, hats, sweaters, etc. You can also purchase handicrafts in the villages where Skorpios Cruises stop over
- Television
Skorpios has open TV signal during some parts of the voyage, but there is an on board closed circuit TV with movies. Professionals film all the activities during the cruise and edited videos are offered to the passengers, in PAL and NTSC sistem (ask for rates).
- Telephone
M/V Skorpios I, II and III has satellite telephone connections that allow passengers to call anywhere in the world.
- Internet
Unfortunately internet connection will not be available on board.
